Planned Parenthood offers an environment of support and caring for people who are facing decisions about an unplanned pregnancy. We provide both surgical and medical abortions. Surgical abortions are performed with local anesthesia. Contact one of our health centers for any questions you have about the procedure

Phone 1-920-731-9534
Hours Call for an appointment between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Services Surgical Abortions: Surgical abortions are performed up to 13 weeks from the date of your last normal menstrual period using a method called vacuum aspiration. This process ends a pregnancy by gently sucking out the contents of the uterus and removing the tissues from the pregnancy.
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin offers medical abortions up to nine weeks from the first day of the last normal menstrual period. Medical abortion ends a pregnancy without surgery. Two medications make the uterus contract and empty which causes the abortion. Patients choosing medical abortion must live within a 1-hour (50 mile) radius of the clinic. The procedure takes three visits.
Payment We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), and money orders. We do not accept personal or cashier's checks. Payment is always expected at the time of service. Ability to bill medical assistance will be determined at the time of your appointment. Please bring your medical assistance card.
Planned Parenthood is committed to removing barriers for patients seeking services. The Justice Fund is a donor-supported fund that ensures cost is not a barrier for women seeking services. Funds are limited and eligibility will be determined at the time of inquiry.
Waiting Period Women seeking abortion services in Wisconsin must see a physician to receive state-mandated information and "counseling" at least 24 hours before they get an abortion. Patients who choose Planned Parenthood for abortion services must see our physicians for their first "counseling" session.
Parental Consent Minors seeking abortions must have parental consent of a relative--aunt, uncle, brother or sister over the age of 25 or grandparent--or a judicial bypass.
Confidentiality Our abortion services are completely confidential. From the moment that you contact us we respect your right to privacy. We will not tell anyone that you were here unless you give us permission to do so. |
