Birds, Bees and Beyond.

Let us first say this--WAY TO GO! We're delighted that you're here to explore resources that will help you communicate effectively with your child regarding sexuality. You play a critical role in helping your child address issues of sexuality in a way that will enable him or her to make healthy, positive choices.

The better prepared you are for this role, the more likely you'll be able to execute it comfortably and effectively with a minimum of throat-clearing and brow-mopping. But, if you're like most parents, you need help to ensure that the information you share with your child is accurate, up-to-date, and age-appropriate.

For more specific information about discussing sexuality with a child of a certain age, choose one of the categories below.
Select "Resources on the Web" for a list of websites offering general information about the importance of parent/child communication regarding sexuality. Or, stop by and visit the Maurice Ritz Resource Center, PPWI's community library.
