Register to Vote on Election Day
in Wisconsin, you can register to vote on Election Day at your polling place:

If you have lived at your current address at least 10 days before the election.

Bring 1 form of proof of residence with your full name and current address, such as:

    • driver's license, telephone or utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck.

    • university, college or technical institute ID or fee card that contains your photograph, even if the card does not have your address if the school provides a certified list of students for use at the polling place.
New Federal Requirement: All new registrants are required to give their Wisconsin driver's license number, or if they don't have a Wisconsin driver's license, the last four digits of their Social Security Number or Wisconsin ID Card number when registering to vote.
